I felt there was lack of communication between myself and the service writer.
Hit a deer, had them fix it through my insurance. Insurance company wanted after market parts, Rus insisted on original manufacturer parts only. Insurance rejected one of the repairs, Rus advised me of this so that I could try and get insurance to approve the repair, which they did. They fixed some "rust" on the hood as a free bonus and Rus even drove to my house when the car was finished to save me an Uber ride. Rus is an advocate for his customers and passionate about his work. It is sometimes difficult to get a word in edgewise when talking to him so don't be afraid to just cut him off when needed. He tends to repeat the same thing over and over again, but I think this reflects his passion for quality work. Rus didn't wear a mask during my limited interaction with him if that is a potential concern for you. Overall, I'm happy with my decision to insist on getting my car repaired at the dealership. I can't tell that I hit a deer and wrecked my car at all, it runs perfectly so far, and I'm confident that if I have any issues related to the repairs, then Rus will make it right.
